Job Opening - Administrative Assistant/Information Specialist
Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical, secretarial and administrative work in keeping official records, providing highly responsible administrative support to the City Manager, the City Manager's staff and the City Council, providing communication throughout city departments and distributing information to city employees, city council and the public, and assisting in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the department as well as the City of Duncan. A Bachelor's Degree including specialized course work in general office practices, English, communication, public relations, marketing, public or business administration or a closely related field and Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible municipal experience. The minimum salary for this position is $15.04 per hour, plus the fringe benefit package. Applications are required and are available in the downstairs lobby of City Hall, 720 W.
